Extraordinary Conservationists, features conservationists and their teams at the forefront of the battle to save endangered species.
In July 2017, we embarked on the first phase of this expedition to Zimbabwe, Namibia and South Africa where we worked closely with five Extraordinary Conservationists to create their special images.
To tell their stories, we have pioneered a unique photographic concept, the Panotriptych. The Panotriptych is inspired by the expansive field of view of a panorama and defined by the triple-image structure of a triptych. Using filmmaking, photography and storytelling techniques, it captures and portrays the essence of the subject in a three-act story. The Panotriptychs are designed to be large scale prints of approximately 12’ x 3’ (4m x 1m) in size, and are meant as a vehicle of exploration, conversation and inspiration.
